Diligence 3: Ratings

Seest any man, diligent in his business, he shall stand before kings, he shall not stand before mean men

When we talk about ratings, what comes to our mind is the secular system of ratings by stars, five being the best, however, in this discussion we shall see a dimension beyond secular stars rating:

The Place of the Rating: 

In talking about the place of the rating, he referred to Palace and the Ordinary (Valueless, redundant places), though this wasn’t directly mentioned, it could be directly implied. 

The domain of the king is the Palace. Only highly rated works find their way into the palace, the palace also connotes a great place. 

Do your work so well that it finds its way into great places, the work speaks volumes about you, and in fact, you will be invited into the palace on the basis of your work.  When going about your work, conceive greatness alongside, put your all into it and give it all it takes, it influences the value of the work done. 

The Ordinary place is the value-less and redundant place, in other words, it is anywhere and everywhere that just anything goes. Work here is not about value or quality, rather, survival and abuse. The work of a man can either be a palace valued work or an ordinary work with far less value without any touch of royalty.

You decide the place of the rating!

The People for the Rating: 

In the discourse about the people for the rating, we talk about the people attracted to your works, in this case, it could be a King rated work or Ordinary people rated work. For one, the king's rating is the ultimate, the king is royalty. 

Kings represent the best of men, the highest quality, the best of the best, the princely, and the prime amongst men. Kings appreciate thorough and well-done jobs. The value of any work done determines the pricing of that work. Maybe the reason for the undervalued/underpriced work is the quality it wields. Improve your quality and see your ratings improve, you can move from the levels of mean men to the level of kings.  that’s the rating that your work deserves

Every great work eventually, get their due ratings. What brings man the ratings he deserves rating is not even his character, but his work? Their services will be demanded by the best men, kings who actually signify the leaders of men will seek out their services. 

Make your work, service be Value-adding, qualitative. Not relegated as ordinary
