Salt Life: The Battle in the Salt Mandate : Mechanism of Preservation.

 There is more to life than the eyes can see

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…Eph 6:12.

As illustrated earlier, read here; The chemicals in salt are strong. The process of getting its preservative work done is by withdrawing water (a necessary living requirement) from the cell of the engulfing organism. It targets the water because water is a basic living requirement for all organisms.

Water withdrawal stifles the organism and denies it proper functionality, thereby slowing or preventing food spoilage. This model gives the idea of how grace works in the sons of God. God's children (salt of the earth) strike at the heart of the strength and resource center of the enemy; they overpower the enemies with their superior weaponry, which is the grace of the Lord, the power of the spirit, the angelic service at their disposal, and many others, that's why John retorted, ye are of God little children and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. 

The preservation assignment could have a destructive side, which is usually targeted towards the enemy and agent of decomposition, the ones the bible calls the spoilers, col 2:12-25; 

We have a mandate to preserve the world, to bring many sons to glory, to bring forth fruits that will abide. When in preservative confrontation with the enemy we activate the preservation clause; that's the back end of intersession.

Just as we may not see some of these organisms, then it must be noted that the real enemies that we combat to preserve destinies are not seen, they are wicked spirits dwelling in our domains. We have overcome them 1 Jn 4:4
