Ye are the salt of the Earth…Mt 5:13
To everything there is a season,
and a time to every purpose under the heaven, Eccl
3:1.
All
things in life are time defined, likewise, every assignment, every
responsibility, and every purpose. What you must do in the world, has a
specified time. Wisdom in time means working within your time limit. Being
timely in time is a virtue.
Salt
preserves for a season so is the assignment of the sons of God on the earth. Your preserving grace/influence
on/in the current social system is for a while, time is running out. Time in
itself is racing towards the word of God.
A common mistake that people make in handling time
is the assumption that there is still time and that one has more than enough
time allotted to oneself: the truth is, you don’t always have more than enough
time, you only just have the necessary time to do what you need to do every
time. We all have the right amount of time to do what we ought to do and be
what we need to be. All things in life are time-bound and specified, make the
best of yours.
Do
what you ought to do while you have the time, a saying goes: time waits for no
man, if we fail to do what we need to do when we need to do it, then we
contribute to the corruption and chaos going on in the world.
Really, there is no time but what must we do?
