Ye are the salt of the earth…Mt 5:13

All things in our material world go through a system of deterioration if no form of preservation is added. The world (social system) in its elements is corrupt 1 Jn 2:15-17

A man bought a fresh piece of meat from the market, wanting to make a delicacy with it; unfortunately, he had an emergency and had to leave home as quickly as possible, he left the meat piece unattended (uncooked, unsalted, unrefrigerated, unsmoked, not sundried). He returned three days after and the meat had spoilt, in fact, there were maggots on the kitchen table where he had placed it and there was an uninviting smell that welcomed him. While the experience is pathetic, it is only just natural for putrefaction to happen, and notice that you can hardly fault the meat, rather, the person that left it unattended.

The world would naturally decay without the preservation of grace. It is just natural for this to happen. Everything continues in a familiar way and along a familiar path except it is altered by another force, so unless, the way is altered, the destination is determined.

The world will not get better and things will not change until we decide to alter the present system. Remember, only grace preservation can restore the glory of God in a sin-decaying world. Quite excitingly is the fact that the creation awaits the manifestation of the sons of God ...that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust 2 Pet 1:4

You need Jesus!
