Needs are essentials for survival. They are things that we cannot survive without and when we are denied of these things, life is threatened, the basic being God. While some needs will be sustained through life, some others change over time.

All men will continually be in need because we live in the quest for perfection, needing to fill every void that we see in us per time; if you have ever wondered why you continue to be in needs, it is because our imperfection longs for perfection, God said be thou perfect 1 (both telling and reminding us that we are imperfect and insufficient of ourselves).

Needs is the center or heart of service; every quality service rendered or offered is aimed at meeting specific needs. All men are ever-evolving and changing daily, not into another species, but rather a change within their own selves, physical, spiritual, and the likes; these changes need to be accommodated, henceforth, needs arise which is shown in our wanting to change things in and about ourselves.

In a world smeared with a thick film of darkness, where gross wickedness and evils envelope the nature of many men darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people 2, just one thing could be inevitable, this thing is the critical need of God

The good news however is that God has got them (our needs) all covered, He says that He has our daily and lifelong needs covered, blessed is your basket, blessed is your store 3 both referring to our daily and lifelong needs. That is one reason that God would have us commune with Him and depend on Him always, so that we wouldn’t needlessly struggle to have what is ours already.

  3. This insufficiency only exist on earth. When we are finally connected to The All Sufficient God, the needs disappears. Case study was Moses 40days and nights with God and, he wasn't even weak when he returned to the camp.
Our prayer should be, "Father, give me the spirit of contentment and the heart of gratitude at all times while on earth".
