Thank You Jesus

In everything, give thanks, for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ concerning you 1 Thess 5:18

What are you passing through, where are you currently located, what are you doing? Giving thanks is always and everywhere and in everything, it isn’t to be influenced by any particular situation, it isn’t location sensitive.

The best time to give thanks is now and the best place to give thanks is where you are. Every situation is the best for thanksgiving. In thanksgiving, you take advantage of all for His glory and to His glory.

Notice, Paul said in everything, give thanks… and not for everything, give thanks: reason is; when you say ‘for everything’ you do not have to be a part of it, have a prior experience, or be in the heart of things, in other words, you are excluded; you are merely acting on something that you know or feel very little or nothing about. Paul had this to say about Jesus ‘for we do not have a high priest that cannot be touched with a feeling of our infirmities, he was in every tempted as we are…Heb 4:15 meaning that Jesus actually encountered most of the things that we would later talk about.

In other words, inside everything, give thanks. Inside everything, not for everything. Truth is, it isn’t always easy to give God thanks inside tough and trying situations. Thanks in pain, loss, sickness isn’t always easy, but we are told it is the right thing to do. God wants to hear your thanksgiving in all situations so that you can know that He is interested in every situation in your life.

It reflects God's perfect will in you because it helps you reference Him in all and being over all.
