Power is the ability or capacity to act or do.
You know,
in life, every man would be engaged with something, either productive or
counterproductive. We all have the ability or capacity to do at least something,
so, there isn’t any such thing as I cannot do anything. If you can do
something, then it indicates the fact that there is some power in you, but the
extent to which you can do or act depends on you, your capacity for action
depends on you. A higher level of living or functioning is always a weight that
requires a capacity. Inherent in everyone is power, and the reason for this
power is to get work done, if the world must be preserved and beautified
(dressed and kept), then work must be done by people always, that’s a reason to
keep working, to sustain the system. The scripture condemns in strong terms
laziness. All systems are improved by the quality of the works of the people.
The extent of individual abilities or capacities differs,
depending on commitment, gifting, and individual disposition. God wills that we
be a blessing to the world, so He empowers all those that come to Him and all others,
because of our source connection to Him. These empowerments could be got by
inheritance, ‘Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light’ Col 1:12, through
association with God, ‘But as many as received Him, to them He gave the
right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name Jn 1:12’: through
learning, ‘as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to
life and godliness: through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and
virtue’2 Pet1:3.
I’ve got news for you, that news is that you can, you can and you can! Get God and get up, stop brooding, you really can. With God alone are all things possible!
