For unto us a child is born, to us, a son is given…
The Christmas season comes with fanfare and strange excitement all over the world.
Many cities and towns are decorated beautifully from moderate to exquisite to
expensive with thousands of lights adorning streets/environments to reflect the
mood. Joyful indeed
JESUS is the Reason for the Season but what makes it really special is that while Jesus is the focus at Christmas, you are the focus of Christmas. God targeted you specifically. ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life’.
The child is born ‘unto us’ and ‘to us’ the son is given. Notice ‘TO US’ which puts
man in a specified position of focus advantage, we are the reason why the child/son
came.
Congratulations
to 'US'. Joy to the world…
The born child will mature into a son who will be wholly committed to us, ultimately
giving up his life for us, for our salvation. Hallelujah
Christmas
ought to be a personal affair with Christ, have you met Him, do you know Him
personally. The season is a good opportunity to re-examine your walk with the
one born and given to/for you. It is more about you because you are the reason
He came.
