from the rising of the sun to its going down, the name of Jehovah shall be great among the nations and in every place shall incense be offered to my name and a clean meat offering'.
The broad symbolism of incense is worship
The second gift that was presented by the wise men was the gift of frankincense. Unlike now, when worship has less to do with materials or objects, it was highly significant in ancient times
One such objects used during worship was incense, priests would burn incense every morning and evening.
The wise men discerned rightly that the newborn child was a deity, worthy of worship. This was also stated in the words of the wise men to King Herod, 'for we have come that we might worship Him.
Jesus deserves your praise and worship because He is the mighty God and everlasting father
What to do at Christmas: Worship Him just as the angels did at the announcement of His birth.
