Step
3: He needed to roar:
Lions roar Eda, you
must roar or get something close to it, else you are an ordinary goat said
Rafiki. Eda took the challenge well, I will give it all it takes he said. He
got a vocal coach trainer and endured voice training adhering strictly to
every discipline regimen. After a few weeks, he would roar so loudly in the
neighbourhood; neighbors mistook their weird neighbor for some stray lion, many
even deserted the neighborhood for the fear of being eaten by lions; Eda
rejoiced secretly at the news, his lion awareness was growing and many wouldn’t
associate with him anymore. As at other times, he returned to Rafiki who praised
him and urged him to the next task.
Step
4: He needed to relocate to the wild
As Eda left Rafiki’s
house, he reflected on what he said about the next task which was to relocate
to the wild. It didn’t seem a big deal to him as his neighbors deemed him wild
and couldn’t cope with him, they couldn’t even stand up to him; he had become a
stare and fear. Eda relocated to the wild; his enhanced look helped a lot, he
easily preyed on the helpless animals and was relatively fine in the wild. I am
living the life he shouted excitedly on his way to see rafiki for the last task
that wouldn’t just make him a n accredited lion but also the king of the
jungle.
Step
5: He needed to change his companions and hang out with lions
You have become a lion,
birds of feathers flock together; you have to move with your companions, you
are just as they are, you can do what they can do, you have become as
they...this was the best moment of Eda’s life as he was motivated to the high
heavens. He was literally soaring and couldn’t wait to join his companions…hardly
had Rafiki finished his speech that Eda dashed off to the wild, he was used to
the wild already and knew the routes however this time he moved in with the
lions.
Eda displayed his
skills, but as a rule, if you moved in with the clan of lions, you had to
prove your worthiness, Eda was challenged by the head of the lion clan into a
friendly fight, and he accepted this challenge excitedly. The fight happened
and Eda wasn’t just defeated, he was killed and eaten quite easily.
It was such a sad and
terrible ending for Eda. Now, here are the lessons:
Transformation is a
thing of the heart. Only Christ can secure a genuine change in every man 2 Corr
5:17. Jesus is the change and changer. He is the unchangeable changer.
You must be committed
to real change that only Christ can give, no make-up. Jn 8:32
Real change is internal
and within, never cosmetic or bodily adjustment or external Rom 12:2
Motivation is good but only the truth sets free. Jn 8:32
Your faith should not
be based on the wisdom of men but in the power of God 1 Corr 2:5
Only the true lion can
make you become a lion
Oh what a sad ending for Eda after all his struggles, that mean anything not from God cannot last.
ReplyDeleteIt is bad end for Eds. This show that true transformation come through reading, studying, meditating and hearing the words of God not by human philosophy. Thank for the story sir. God bless you
ReplyDeleteTo be a true lion, you need be groomed and introduced by The True and genuine Lion. Only after this will fellow lions accept you while lesser animals fear you.
