Placing demands through Prayer

‘Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you’, Mt 7:7

This is the voice of the savior, He wants to hear from you constantly, He asked us to place demands in a specific way, the way of prayer. When God asks us to pray, it is because he wants to hear from us, He has something to give, there are things He wants to offer, there are levels He wants to change, destinies He wants to repair, lives to fix and supplies He wants to pour down from the window of heaven.

Communication is the soul of every relationship, it is its backbone, and prayer is our basic communication language with God, it is the communing of divinity and humanity, an interrelationship between a stronger and a weaker. Someone once posited that prayer is an intercontinental ballistic missile and that is a wow definition, it makes a whole lot of sense. Herein then is a definite revelation of God’s love towards us, in that he is willing to meet our needs.

I remember, wanting to have somebody get back to her senses years ago; I discovered that she was walking the wrong path. Persuasive words and counsel didn’t seem to shift her position; it was difficult to get what I really wanted to see, I felt the person needed help; I went ahead, praying the word of God, placing demands in prayer concerning the issue, by evening, when I saw the person, I had seen the effect of prayer on her, then I understood how God had supplied an answer from the throne of grace.
