The Holy Spirit and You

 The Fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with You...

For thou has created all things and for thy pleasure, they are and were created. Rev 4:11

You were created for the pleasure of God; he wants to derive pleasure in all that you are and all that you do. God wants to look at you and be absolutely satisfied and pleasured. Ever wondered why God loves to be with man? It is because he made man as an expression of His love and to love man and be with man. Jesus was called Emmanuel to reinforce this idea of God's thought about man. 

God loves to be with you: you were made from Him Eph 1:4 and for Him Is 43:21. God is with us today in the person of the Holy Spirit and seeks to perfect His union with man. 

The Holy Spirit is the living God from everlasting to everlasting, the third person in the Godhead.

If you will live successfully, you need God the Holy Spirit. 

The Holy Spirit our intercessor: Rom 8:26-27.  

for we know not what we should pray for as we ought. To navigate through life successfully, there are prayers for and at certain times that we must not miss, there are also times that we have the urge to pray but we do not know what to pray for or how to go about it; there’s where the Holy Spirit covers us. 

Some years back, I went out for my routine morning prayer walk, I had a prayer list that I followed; after exhausting that, I prayed a lot in spirit, thank God I did; it was during this time that I received a specific word ‘pray for mercy’, I followed through. I would later understand that it was the Holy Spirit redirecting my prayer. It was later revealed to me that the accuser was gathering points from past faults, unconfessed sins, and errors against me in the presence of God. Having obeyed the voice of the Holy Spirit, I confronted the enemy with the testimony of mercy with all boldness of grace; he was completely defeated and then was when I understood perfectly the scripture ‘they overcame him by the word of their testimony.

Only the Holy Spirit connects and conveys depths in intercession, if you want to intercede deeper, pray in the Spirit, allow the Holy Spirit a free flow. At certain times, your heart will be filled with burdens that your mind cannot yet understand and your brain cannot interpret, you need the Holy Spirit’s help.
