Way Out

 

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The earth being without form didn’t mean that it was without any basic form, rather, it referred to the earth being out of the original form; it was completely unrecognizable from the glorious body that was created by God. Being void also refer to the earth being emptied of its original glory, the earth that God made was filled with the glory of God. Everything that made the earth glorious was completely missing, they weren’t seen, the earth laid a mass waste suspended in the heavens, lastly, there wasn’t any light.

There might be certain issues or circumstances in or around our lives that bear semblance to these. Formlessness, voidness, and darkness might be issues in our world today, and the good news is; there is a way out!

This scripture has two parts

The Realistic presentation of the chaotic state of things

This scripture was preserved for our learning; the first step in solving problems is to acknowledge it as it is. Somebody once said, ‘faith doesn’t deny the fact, it overrules it’. Admitting a situation as it is doesn’t mean faithlessness; it otherwise presents seriousness in tackling the situation. Even when you have to profess the positive reality of kingdom truths, they are spoken forth to challenge the present narrative and establish kingdom reality.

The Foundation of all solutions: Allow the Holy Spirit a free flow…

The Spirit of God hovered upon the face of the waters. After this hovering/moving, God spoke and everything began to take shape. The word of God rode on the foundation of the spirit. Real change begins when you make the initial grace commitment, there might not seem to be any noticeable change as yet. Many people will attribute the change to the period that they see visible changes alone; it is beyond that. Allow the Holy Spirit a free flow, then the release of the word can begin to shape kingdom reality over the affairs.

Are you challenged, are you stuck, do you feel off, down, dispirited; there is a way out, allow the Holy Spirit a free flow, grow in daily fellowship with Him, become fond of Him and intentionally commit yourself to Him more than ever. Remember the word of change will only be built on the strength of the Spirit.

You can’t know the Holy Spirit except you are born again, you must be born again.
