And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and
between thy seed and her seed: It shall bruise thy head and thou shalt bruise
his heel. Gen 3:15
When man fell, he lost his position as the 'god of this world' as ordained by God. Man lost a lot more than he ever knew, he forfeited leadership, legality, and life. The devil triumphantly took over proceedings from here and became the god of this world, 2 Corr 4:4.
In the context of Genesis 3:15 and the rest of the Bible,
the prediction is of an ongoing conflict not merely between snakes and humans
but between Satan (the embodiment of ultimate evil) and humanity.
In the Garden of Eden, after the Fall, God cursed the serpent and the ground, not the man or woman
though He reeled out punishments. Specific reference was made to the seed of
the woman and the seed of the serpent.
The seed always points to a future life, time, and activity. The
seed refers specifically to the particularity of a person, secondly persons and
lastly to nations.
The woman would have a seed, the serpent would have a seed, and there would be contention between the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. The seed of the serpent would deal the seed of the woman a momentary blow by bruising its heel, while the seed of the woman would deal the seed of the serpent a permanent blow-by bruising its head.
All this seems like some allegorical story until you realize that Jesus is the seed of the woman, and you are by extension seedlings of the seed which explains the conflicts that haunt you. There is an ongoing conflict between good and evil, this affects your daily life, however, knowing your camp in conflict determines your position in the end
This is a spiritually filled and motivating scripture analysis. More wisdom and anointing
