How to get the Change that you so Earnestly Desire

 

And be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Rom 12:2

Have you ever wondered why that change is so difficult and almost impossible for you? Have you ever looked in bewilderment, pondering on the reason things turned out the way they did? Seriously, have you asked questions on why things have not yet shifted position despite your commitment to seeing them work out for you? The reason is 

'it is always difficult and often impossible with men because  ‘all men are limited in some way, but all things are possible with God lk 1:37’. 

It would be needful that we realize that 

'man is infinitely limited, but God is an awesome endless possibility. The possibility of all things is connected to God alone, not another.'

Conformed: the Greek word suschematizo was used to describe this word conformed and it means to adapt or conform to another’s example, to kind of meander through to being another. The bible clearly points that we should not align to the examples, ways, patterns set by the world in any situation. 

Don’t copy unbelieving friends, don’t wholly entrust yourself into the hands of those that do not follow the Lord,

 it won’t always incline to the perfect will of the Lord for our lives. Friends, 

copying television series, building and developing life truths based on media isn’t wisdom, these do not always provide the needed change.

Transformed: The Greek word is Metamorphoo and means ‘to change by a supernatural change, and this goes beyond you and me, it takes a higher force (God) to bring that change. The word also means transfiguration, a supernatural change. 

The real change that you need is an influence of/by the supernatural 

Renewed Minds: to renew is to undo the former and replace it with a new thing. The meaning of this scripture then clearly being this: 

‘Do not align yourself to the examples of the men of this world, but be changed supernaturally by getting rid of your own thoughts, ways and patterns and replace it with the word of the Lord to know God’s will'.

A real change comes when you look into the perfect law of liberty to discover God’s own way of bringing that change your way and accepting to live by it, letting go of your own superficially preconceived ideas and ways, then comes your change.
