And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in gloryPhil 4:19

The riches refer to resources; God meets our needs with His resources.

A resource can be defined as anything that is used for supply or support. A root meaning of the word resource from its word-formation process puts it as something that routes a thing back to the source, it means RE-SOURCE.

The source is the origin of a thing, while ‘re’ means to go back to an original or to the former, to direct again or cause to be back; to bring back. So, a resource can be concluded to be that which routes a thing back to its source; that is the root definition for the word, resource.

God’s resources or heaven’s resources are those things that God gives us or blesses us with that route us back to Him or in Him. Divine provisions are not intended to take us away from Him but to bring us closer to Him or back to Him; to cause Him to be in our remembrance and memories always. Remember the scripture, remember now thy creatorEccl 12:1, it is to keep God in our consciousness at all times. God’s blessings are not meant to be a distraction, but well-intended and purposed goodies/benefits of the divine.

I stand to correct a popular notion that has gained ground these days and it is of people saying that the things that God has blessed them with such as their families, finances, and other material provisions are hindering them from serving God as they ought; God’s blessings don’t come with problems, neither does it block true worship and seamless worship, human complications, satanic incursion and deception that give rise to all those.
